Book One: Redemption, Chapter Twenty: "Escaping the beast's lair"

"You will not escape, this world is full of pathetic fools who do not know what horror really is!" yelled Koh as the sword it spat out closed in on Aang and Toph. "That is right, my face-stealing abilities can never be taken away, you can never defeat the menace known as Koh." yelled the spirit. "Aang, do not let this freak get us!" yelled Toph as the sword got closer. "You say I do not know what fear is, but the funny thing is, I have lived through it time and time again!" said Aang as he grabbed the sword and not showing emotions. "What, no one has ever grasped that sword before!" yelled Koh as it was speechless.

"You have stolen your last face Hok!" yelled Aang as he threw the sword back at Koh. "Damn you Aang!" yelled Koh as the sword pierced the evil centipede-like spirit. "I lived for revenge, I was the ultimate spirit, and I was beaten by the boy of the Avatar spirit." said Koh as it fell to the ground. "Well, it looks like that monster will not be getting our faces!" said Toph who was very happy. "You fools think I am down, I am already dead, you cannot ever defeat me again!" yelled Koh as it slithered its way towards Aang. "Now you will see what I had to go through boy!" yelled Koh as it had the face of a long bearded man.

"I already said, I know what fear is!" yelled Aang as he charged through Koh's stomach piercing from him. "Gyahhh!" yelled Koh as it fell to the ground once again. "Now, raise up again you cruel monster." said Toph. "You, you, fool, you have not beaten me for good." said Koh as it was enable to move at all. "You just made a fool of yourself you little girl." said Aang speaking of Koh's true self, Hok. "You fool, you speak as if you know the real me!" yelled Koh. "I do, I have the memory of every Avatar." said Aang. "What, this cannot be true, it does not matter, just get out of my lair now!" yelled Koh. "Well, should you ever try to come back to the living world, you will never go back to your home again!" said Aang as he was not only glowing but began to flash colors.

"What is he, the Avatar's true power?" asked Koh to itself. "Just lie there and accept your defeat, deal with your punishment, dwell on your fate, try to change." said Aang as he walked over to Toph. "Aang, are you okay?" asked Toph with concern. "Yes, I am alright, let's go back to the real world, I am tired of fighting now." said Aang who was ready to leave the Spirit World. "You are not any ordinary Avatar, you could be the Messiah Avatar!" yelled Koh. "The Messiah Avatar, what is that?" asked Aang who did not know of what Koh spoke of. "Yes, the Avatar not only destined to protect the nations, but the entire cosmos!" said Koh.

"Explain yourself Koh, you make no sense." said Aang. "It is only true, you know that the form you were just in was above that of the Avatar State!" said Koh who was still shocked. "It is right, you were glowing all different colors Aang, it was awesome." said Toph who also witnessed it. "Well, it does not matter, let's leave." said Aang speaking to Toph. "Yes, this place is starting to get weirder and weirder." said Toph as she was ready to leave. "Leave, but the tall man will show no mercy, he is worse than me!" yelled Koh as it finally healed its wounds but did not bother to go after Aang knowing it was inferior to Aang's new revealed powers.

Aang then placed his hand on Toph and said, "Close your eyes, we are now going to be teleported back to the last place we were in the real world." said Aang as he and Toph were immediately to the real world. "Yes, he will go through a lot now, the end of the entire universe will now take place!" yelled Koh as it began to laugh with cruel intentions. The little girl that Koh once was could also be seen within the beast at this moment. Aang and Toph were teleported back to the outside of the palace, a minute had not passed since Aang and Toph were gone in the real world. "Hey, they are back, there were only gone for a few minutes." said Sokka who was surprised to see Aang and Toph back. "Well, it looks like a few interesting things were just said." spoke Aang of learning that he could be a Messiah Avatar. -End of Chapter-
